Delete your account

Last updated September 22, 2026

You can delete your AKURA account yourself, from the app or the website, in about a minute. This page explains what happens, and what to do if you can no longer sign in.

Delete it yourself

Sign in, open Settings, then Account, and choose Delete. The same steps work in the AKURA app on iPhone and Android and on akurastock.com.

If you are a team member of a business, this deletes your sign-in and removes your access to that business. The business and its records stay with its owner.

If you own a business, this deletes the business and everything in it: products and photos, documents, partners, expenses, reports, and every member’s access, along with your own sign-in. You are asked to type the business name to confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone.

A business billed through the App Store or Google Play has to have its subscription cancelled in the store first, so the store does not keep charging for a business that no longer exists. A business billed through the website has its subscription cancelled for you as part of the deletion.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, email support@akurastock.com from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We will confirm it is you, then delete the account the same way, and reply when it is done. Expect an answer within a few business days.

What is deleted and when

Everything listed above is removed from our live systems at the moment of deletion. Encrypted backups roll off within a short period after that. Server logs that record requests (IP address, time, request) are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting and are not tied to your account afterwards.

Records about payments (receipts and invoices) are kept by our payment providers, Stripe, Apple and Google, under their own policies, as the law requires.

Delete some of your data instead

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data. Products, photos, documents, partners and expenses can each be deleted from inside AKURA, and the change applies everywhere the business is used.
